Wine, Beer, and Cider De-alcoholization

Many people cannot consume alcohol for health or religious reasons. Others must abstain because they need to drive. There is a large and growing market for non-alcoholic or alcohol-reduced beverages. But existing products are not satisfying the palates of potential customers.

Pass-through Distillation (PTD) is a way of removing alcohol from a fermented beverage at low temperature so that delicate flavours are preserved. The low energy input as compared to conventional distillation is another incentive for beverage makers to embrace new method of alcohol removal.
